(In progress...)
I was so overwhelmed when I began registering for baby products - there are just so many to choose from and it seemed impossible that a little baby needed so much stuff! Here's a list of my favorite products ... but keep in mind that every baby is different, so what works for Ethan may not work for your little one!
Aden + Anais Burpy Bibs - these fit perfectly over the shoulder for burping and can also be snapped around baby's neck for feeding. I like the shape of these better than the others I tried. Also, my baby seems to have a rather, um, large neck - these actually fit around it without choking him.
Chicco Key Fit 30 Car Seat and Key Fit Caddy - I really love our car seat. It is so simple to use, it snaps into place so easily. I am sure that many car seats work just as easily, but so far I love the Chicco. Whichever one you get, make sure you get the matching snap-n-go stroller. It makes going from car to shopping so much easier!
Fisher Price Rock-n-Play - Ethan sleeps in this at night in our bedroom and takes naps in it during the day. It works best on hardwood floors - when he starts to stir, it gently rocks and lulls him back to sleep. I like that he is slightly elevated, I think it helps with spit-up.
Medela Quick Steam Bags - even if you are not pumping, these bags are awesome for steaming bottles, pacifiers and anything else that needs to be sterilized.
Fisher Price Kick & Play Piano - perfect practice for my future boy band member! He loves, loves, loves to kick his legs - I knew this from about four months pregnant. Everytime he kicks the keys, it plays a musical note. Love it!
Fisher Price Soothe & Glow Seahorse - Don't ask me why, but this thing starts to glow and sing and my baby closes his eyes. Bonus, the music is actually soothing and not too annoying!
